In 2022 I did the sound mix for the short film Komplimentmaschine (The Compliment Machine).
Working with dialogue in Swiss German—a language I don’t speak—was a unique challenge. I had to pay extra attention to ensure no words were cut off early and that every important line was clearly audible. Collaboration was key, and I worked closely with the team to fine-tune the mix and bring Oli’s world to life. One of my favorite elements? The robot’s voice! Crafting it with some fun auto-tune settings added a playful, quirky vibe to the character.
